Lesson 7. Soft sign
The soft sign is a unique letter that has no sound at all! However, it softens the sound of the consonant before it.
Do you remember what to do? Smile! It will be easier to pronounce soft consonants.
Two positions of the soft sign:
– At the end of a word:
ДАН – ДАНЬ
МАТ – МАТЬ
БЫТ – БЫТЬ
ТОП – ТОПЬ
– Between 2 consonants:
ТЬМА СВАДЬБА
