Speaking a foreign language is like a performance! It’s not just about grammar, it’s about feelings, emotions, and expressions. Not only WHAT you say matters but also HOW you say it. That is why the Imitation technique (aka ‘shadowing’) is so effective!

Imitating a Russian native speaker improves your pronunciation and expression faster than any other speaking practice.

How does it work? Each lesson consists of 3 steps:

1. Watch the video and read the text. You just need to understand what I am talking about. Look up some words in a dictionary if you need to. Watch as many times as you need.

2. Here you have pauses after each sentence. You need to copy me 100%: words, stress, pauses, intonation, facial expressions, and gestures.

3. This is the most challenging part – you try to speak WITH me. It might not work from the first time – just try again and again.

By copying a native speaker, you are teaching yourself to communicate in the most natural way!
